We exhibit nothing of importance
Museums share knowledge about the way things were, the way things are, and the way things are going.
As community evolves, museums document change and ensure that culture, lessons learned, challenges and achievements aren’t forgotten. Ours does not.
Past

Present
We have an archive but no one is allowed to see it. Our exhibits don’t change – same old same ole- everyday, every year.
Nevermind the hooker’s purse exhibit in 2016. The final straw.
Future
Not very hopeful. Many have tried. The board has made it impossible to improve the museum or tell the FC story. These gatekeepers dissuade truth and innovation, they treat volunteers poorly. Awful group of uninformed, biased, elitist, bullying, old women with no clue about a museum’s purpose.

We’ve been hiding truth and pretending to be a museum since 1992
W e didn’t participate in the Time Capsule and treated those who did with disdain.
We do not want to educate or inform about the challenges we face or the decisions we make. Neither politically nor at the museum. Is there an unwritten rule about transparency and opacity? We advise our staff to “not discuss politics.”
We destroyed staff’s previous work.
We do not follow AB Museum advice or guidelines.
We filter history through the eyes of our husband’s job.
We exhibit stupid stuff not relevant or specific to FC with no context like salt shakers, hair dryers and sewing machines.
The museum is a hodgepoge of stuff, in no particular oder, that does not tell the FC story.
We still do the outdated “duck” race. We dump ducks into a child’s wadding pool and pull out winners, choosing carefully. We have no other source of income and depend on handouts from the town and government grants to staff apathetic, lazy, students every summer.
Our staff show no interest in FC history. Our board is ineffective, resistant to change. It is neither museum, communication, marketing, nor computer savey. The board is impossible to reach and most do not know the password to the museum’s email account. We do not have a phone.
